Business Continuity Policy


A. Potamitis Medicare Ltd is committed to providing the best possible experience to its customers and the best possible relationships with employees, shareholders, business partners and suppliers. To ensure the consistent availability and delivery of its products and services, A. Potamitis Medicare Ltd has set out the Company’s framework for:

­  responding to business disruptions in its critical business activities,

­  managing the continuation of these activities,

­  managing their subsequent restoration.

The scope of the Company’s business continuity system is to provide resilience for its critical business activities through the implementation of controls that minimize the impact of a disruption on its business products, services, employees and infrastructure. A business continuity plan has been developed in order to to manage business disruptions and this plan covers the Company’s:

data backup and recovery, all mission critical systems, financial and operational assessments, alternative communications with customers, employees, shareholders and regulators, alternate physical location of employees, critical supplier, contractor, bank and counter-party impact.

It is the Company’s policy to:

¯  regard business continuity as a key organizational activity and maintain a comprehensive business continuity plan to implement and manage this,

¯  identify the Company’s critical business activities on the events that could cause significant business disruption,

¯  regularly test business continuity plans to ensure that they:

-          maintain or rapidly recover critical activities,

-          maintain the availability of key resources to support critical activities,

-          prevent or limit the disruption to customers, employees, shareholders, business partners and suppliers,

-          define the responsibilities of employees involved in business continuity activities and provide training to ensure that these responsibilities can be carried out successfully,

¯  regularly review business continuity activities, policies, plans, tests and responsibilities to ensure that the business continuity strategy remains appropriate to its needs.

The Company has implemented an ISO 9001:2015 QMS, based on ISO 22301 Standard, to manage its business continuity operations, that provides the framework for the implementation of this policy, supported by a comprehensive set of processes and procedures.

This policy and the QMS’ other policies, processes and procedures provide a clear statement of our commitment to ensure that the Company’s acritical business activities can be maintained during a disruption.

This policy is issued, reviewed at least annually and maintained by the Management Representative, who also provides advice and guidance on its implementation and ensures compliance.

The Company’s employees shall comply with this policy.
